Freudenberg Performance Materials is a global supplier of innovative technical textiles, recognized for the quality and reliability of its solutions. The Arnhem plant has been operating under our management for several years, ensuring production continuity and a constant focus on process efficiency.

We took over an existing Level 2 software with the aim of maintaining it and carrying out a technological revamping. Part of the code has been rewritten using more modern technologies, improving stability, security, and integration capabilities with future systems, while preserving the plant rules and established operating logic.
The textile plant, originally designed and built in 1998, receives pallets of yarn bobbins and produces textiles according to customer specifications. The process involves the management of creels for yarn collection, followed by a scrambling phase that allows for further filtering of the production. This step is essential to ensure quality: without it, the risk of defects in the final product would significantly increase.

Thanks to these revamping and optimization activities, the plant continues to deliver reliability, consistent quality, and flexible responsiveness to market demands, despite having been designed more than twenty-five years ago.
