ADFORS is part of the Saint-Gobain industrial group, a global leader in innovation and development of high-performance materials for the construction industry. The plant in Georgia (USA) specializes in the production of raw materials such as fiberglass fibers and insulation mats.

Our automation system manages the entire operational flow of the plant, from retrieving the bobbins directly from the furnaces, to their automatic transport through the inspection and sorting stations, all the way to preparing the material for the customers’ subsequent processing stages.
A key element is the complete traceability of the bobbins, which ensures proper material segregation and eliminates any risk of mixing. Intelligent sorting also makes it possible to assemble carts with exclusively homogeneous material, optimizing production efficiency and streamlining the subsequent processing stages.
