ADFORS (Saint-Gobain)

ADFORS is part of the Saint-Gobain industrial group, a global leader in innovation in construction materials. In particular, the Tlaxcala plant specializes in the production of fiberglass insect screens and knitted fabrics.

Our system manages the entire operational flow of the plant: from retrieving the bobbins directly from the furnaces, to their automatic transport through inspection and sorting stations with storage in automated warehouses, all the way to retrieval for further processing of the material in other areas of the plant.
A key aspect is the complete traceability of the bobbins, which ensures material segregation and eliminates any risk of mixing. Furthermore, intelligent sorting guarantees that each cart contains only homogeneous material, optimizing production and simplifying subsequent processing stages.

Thanks to our Level 2 automation software, the plant operates with the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and data integrity, ensuring centralized control and continuous, reliable management of all operations.

The plant has been operational since 1998, and we have extended the existing software to integrate new machines and furnaces that were subsequently added to the automated system.
