4Sigma Engineering is a company founded in 2012, but its four partners had already been working together since 2006 in the form of an associated firm.
In addition to the four partners over time, the work team has been enriched with many collaborators including developers, technicians and graphic designers.
It also participates in business networks to complete its customers' offerings in the IT field, offering system support services, security checks, compliance management on issues related to the GDPR.
The company mainly deals with the creation of tailor-made software designed to meet the needs of its customers, becoming partners in all respects and not simply suppliers.
It uses web oriented technology for the development of industrial automation and embedded software solutions, as well as for the creation of portals and applications.
Most of the technologies used are open source; the team never stops studying and adopts experimental technologies, collaborating with training centers both in teaching and in the development of innovative projects.
For those who work in the firm, solving problems is a matter of principle. We work with passion and for this reason we compare ourselves every day with the great realities of the world of information technology, to understand how technology is moving not today, but tomorrow.

To maintain contact with national Research and Development, the firm's partners periodically carry out short specialized consultancies with large groups, such as Nokia, Magneti Marelli Motorsport, Selex Galileo and hold laboratory courses every year at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
The extraordinarily low number of unscheduled maintenance interventions, or faults or malfunctions in the software we write and install is the best answer we can give you, and is a source of pride for us.
Our customers don't notice all this: we don't use technical jargon to amaze or strike the imagination. Things just work.
